Ingredients
- 1 cup green salsa
- 1 cup onion, finely chopped (about 1 medium)
- 2 cans (about 15 ounces each) white hominy, rinsed and drained too
- 2-1/2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 4 cups chicken stock
For the garnishes, any or all of the following are great:
- Chopped avocado
- Chopped onion
- Chopped tomato
- Cilantro
- Lime wedges
- Shredded cabbage
- Shredded jicama
- Slivered radishes
Method
- Stir together the onion, stock, salsa, chicken and hominy in a 4 to 5 quart slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for about 5 hours.
- better Serve hot with voluntary garnishes.
