Ingredients
- 4 grilled carved chicken breast
- 1 pound baked penne
- 1-2 whole lemons
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup shred Parmesan
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/4 cup Half and Half (mixture of one part milk and one part cream)
- 3/4 cups whipping cream
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Cook pasta following the normal steps.
- Put aside one cup water, set pasta aside.
- In same bowl, flux butter over medium heat.
- Press in juice of lemons and beat together.
- Cast (half and half) and cream and beat until hot.
- Put in cheese and beat until melted.
- Add salt pepper to taste
- Then add hot pasta water until you get the desirable density.
- Stir in half of your basil.
- Cast pasta and sauce into a large bowl.
- Add chicken, sprinkle remaining basil on top.
